What to Prepare Before You Brief a Website Project
A short checklist that makes quotes more accurate and projects faster.

Most delays in a website project start before design begins. A clear brief saves time for both sides.
Start with the goal
Write down what the website must do: generate enquiries, sell products, or explain services. One main goal shapes every decision that follows.
Gather your content
Collect logos, service descriptions, contact details and any photography. Decide who will approve content and how quickly.
List what already exists
Note your current domain, hosting and any systems the site must connect to. This avoids surprises later.
